Be in receipt
of your Provisional Driving licence - This
includes the photo I.D and the A4 paper counter part. You
will need to bring this with you on every lesson.
Eye
Sight - Before you start your practical driving test,
you will be required to read a number plate from a distance
of between 20 - 20.5 meters, your driving instructor will ask
this of you on the first lesson. Glasses or contact lenses must
be worn if required.

Clothing
and Footwear - While driving you will want to remain
as comfortable as possible. Wearing non restrictive clothing
will allow you to move about and reach all controls. Soft comfortable
shoes are advised. Heels and heavy boots will seriously impede
your ability to use the foot controls. Flip flops can easily
slip off and get caught under the pedals.
Medication
- If you are on any medication including 'over the counter'
it is advisable to check with a pharmacist that you are safe
to drive. |

Drink and Drugs - While
driving a car you must remain of sound mind. Drinking or taking
drugs before a lesson will prohibit you from driving. Drinking
the night before will leave you subdued and hung over. Anyone
suspected of being intoxicated or hung over will not be allowed
to drive.
The
Tests - Before you can book your practical driving
test you will need to pass a theory test. This comprises of
50 questions and selection hazard perception clips.
